OCTAN Parties: Warriors w/ Steve Lawler, Unusual Suspects, Kazantip presents http://octanibiza.com/

July 7th – October

Readying to offer an alternative to the traditional clubbing experience on Ibiza, Octan is set to launch in Playa d’en Bossa later this summer. The space comes with a strong visual identity and musical heritage and the ownership have stated their intent on retaining the gritty essence that the past incarnation was renowned for.
That’s not all. The opening will take place on Sunday 7 July. The best part: Steve Lawler’s legendary Sunday hangout Warriors will host the night, also returning with a weekly residency thereafter. We’re looking forward to getting lost once again in the warren of rooms, open-air roof terrace, secret cinema, stairways and the infamous rest rooms.  While the bigger venues on the island may sacrifice inclusivity and intimacy for the grand spectacle and lavish production, Octan intends to deliver an ethos more personal and welcoming.
Focussing on independent and emerging artists, the balanced team of resident DJs will consist of Stephane Ghenacia, Kellie Allen, Lindsey Matthews and Ryan O’Gorman. Ryan will also operate as the venue’s hand’s on musical director. Launching with a core programme that centres around the weekend from Friday to Monday, details of phase one residencies and special one-offs will be announced soon. The onus will place an emphasis on quality over quantity.
Acts include: Steve Lawler, Enzo Siragusa, Seb Zito, Ben Sterling, Stephane Ghenacia, Kellie Allen, Lindsey Matthews, and Ryan O’Gorman with more TBC
