Soundscreen 2019 will build on the success of the inaugural event which featured the best music films, each screening combined with a live performance or Q&A, with the likes of Lee Scratch Perry, The Slits, Ray Davis and the Sleaford Mods.

Cadiz Music, Vive Le Rock magazine and Rock & Roll Cinema join forces again to create and curate a blend of the best Premieres ofnew music documentaries, a host of artist and director Q&A sessions, and of course, live music entertainment.  In March 2019 the festival will take place at some of London’s most iconic venues; including the 100 Club and Regent Street Cinema.

The first announcement for Soundscreen 2019 includes two films on Pink Floyd, a celebration of Joe Strummer and an evening of performance & film curated by Killing Joke’s founder, artist and producer, Youth.  Further highlights mark the 10th Anniversary of Dr Feelgood’s seminal Oil City Confidential, as well as more iconic London figureheads Julien Temple, the Cockney Rejects andGraham Parker.

Director John Edginton brings ‘Pink Floyd – The Story of Wish You Were Here’ and ‘The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story’.  Graham Parker WILL be answering questions after his ‘Graham Parker – Don’t Ask Me Questions’ and Julien Temple will screen and discuss “Oil City Confidential”, marking its 10th anniversary.  

2019 marks 40 years of The Cockney Rejects and their film ‘East End Babylon’ will be followed by Q&A with Jeff Turner, Mick Geggus and director Richard England.
